The question on everyone's legs...
Is narcissism in cohabitation with self deprecation?
ALSO:
Is this just plain wrong and annoying?
AND:
Is posting photos of yourself on your own blog just plain wrong and annoying?
BUT ALSO TO BE PONDERED:
Is the fact that Anonymous is talking to themselves to be of concern to the rest of us?
I POSE THESE WEIGHTY ISSUES UNTO THEE FAIR READERS.
HOLLA BACK!!

Anonymous realises that "failure always occurs in full view", and is therefore not ready or willing to take the risk...
well....
I think blogging photos of yourself for the sake of photos of yourself (or photos that have a blatant subtext of something like 'look, aren't i hot and interesting?') is on the narcissistic side of entertaining.
Clearly I'm not the only one who thinks so.
As for failure in full view?
Let it be seen!
Sometimes I think that those of us who aren't narcissistic are just cissi's, and I put my anonymous self in that category....wishing for the stones to front up.....
Oh, those 'stones' must be Deleuze's 'encounters' I presume?
There's always one...
I think anonymous thought it was hugely obvious that anonymous is me, sheesh.
And I stand by my comments: NOTHING is MORE ANNOYING than somebody being narcissistic about how crap they are. NOTHING.
(you know what I mean, aye? People who are constantly putting themself down to the point of being unable to do anything by put themself down, all because they want ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENION)
I'm marking this out of annoyance that you didn't know it was me in the first place.
Hmph.
And if you don't know who it is this time Bel, then boy-oh-boy....
That was meant to see 'marking this anonymous', not 'marking this' then no actual specification of what I was marking it as. Kinda ruins the affect really. Oops.

And sheesh, the site double-posting my comment doesn't help my dignity much either. I must be coming across as narcissistic now...
PS I don't think posting photos of yourself is wrong at all. Or annoying. I think it's great. Because I live in London and these photos are my way of remembering what you look like. Well, and that photo of you up by my computer (the one you don't like where you're all blurry).
(I have photos of other people too, just in case any of youse thought I was stalking Bel or something)
(as the one million comments in this comments section also impies)
(awkward)
